2 suspects arrested in Tracy bank robbery
TRACY, CA - Two men were arrested Wednesday morning in connection to two bank robberies.Leroy Colbert, 40, of Fresno, and George Beesley, 42, of Martinez were arrested by Tracy police on the Highway 205 off ramp to Tracy Boulevard, Tracy police Sgt. Luis Mejia said.Both men are suspected of robbing the Bank of Stockton at 1175 North Tracy Blvd. around 10 a.m. Wednesday.Mejia said a witness provided a description of the men's getaway SUV, an Isuzu Rodeo, as it fled the area on westbound 11 th Street.About six minutes after the robbery, Tray patrol officers pulled the car over on the off ramp.Police recovered the stolen money and found that the men were linked to a March 22 bank robbery in Livermore, Mejia said. Colbert and Beesley were booked into San Joaquin County Jail for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Mejia said the investigation into the bank robberies is ongoing.

Suspects Arrested For Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder
A chase that began in Pacific Grove Sunday night ended in a barrage of gunfire in San Simeon hours later after officers chased down several suspects allegedly involved in at least two armed robberies on the Central Coast. Authorities said Pacific Grove police tried to pull over the car for a traffic violation Sunday night. The car sped away, driving south on Highway 1. In the hour and a half that followed, authorities said these suspects robbed a store in Big Sur and in Gorda. Officers said they were driving a stolen SUV. Inside were three men and two women from Fresno, wanted for attempted murder and armed robbery. Officers chased them into San Simeon. The suspects shot at officers, but deputies fired back. The driver tried to run one of the officers over, and deputies shot one of the suspects, 28-year-old Joe Hernandez, in the leg.
