Obituary for Dorothy Fuller
Dorothy "Dot" Fuller, 85, of Collegedale, passed to her rest on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was married to Fred W. Fuller of Collegedale for 66+ years. This was a story of true love. A beautiful lady, she relished her role as a wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Frieda Hood; and by her parents and seven siblings. Survivors include her husband, Fred W. Fuller; two sons, Pastor Fred R. (Rose) Fuller and Kenneth W. (Jeannie) Fuller, all of Collegedale; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Dot was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and longed for the 2nd Coming of Her Lord. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at the Chattanooga 1st SDA Church, with Pastor Dwight Herod officiating. Robert L. Whitmill, 85, of Collegedale, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on Friday, March 21. He was born May 22, 1928. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Lakewood Memory Gardens East with Pastors Jerry Johns and Mickey Mallory, officiating. Visit to share words of comfort to the family. Obituary for Mildred Price
Mildred Louise Price, 81, a resident of Hixson, passed away on Monday March 10, 2014. She was born on Dec. 12, 1932, to the late Oscar and Katherine Baker. She had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 14 years. Mildred loved puzzles, music, and dancing. Above all things, however, she was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Price; and one sister, Margaret Widener. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Casey Price and wife, Luz, two grandchildren, Hunter and Victoria Price; sister, Rosella "Tootsie" Childress; and brother, Bob Baker. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. today, March 13, at Collegedale Community Church. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be private at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Obituary for Thomas Erwin
Thomas Cary Erwin, 41, of Chattanooga, departed this life Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at his home. He worked for Collegedale Case works until his health started declining and was a member of East Brainerd Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas M. Erwin. Survivors include his mother, Alice Erwin; brother, Bryan Erwin; stepson, Eli Newberry; nephew, Matthew Erwin; two aunts; one uncle; and five cousins. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in the chapel with Pastor James Dunn officiating. Entombment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today and prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.

Shane Talmage Gentry, 34, passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 He was born in Chattanooga, on March 20, 1979 to Ben and Jeanine Gentry. He had many interest such as motorcycling, kayaking, reading, music, videogames, paintball and playing with his children. He was a devoted father, brother and son. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Ben Gentry; and grandparents, Fred and Nell Gentry, Helen Trinkner and Mildred Warren. He is survived by his children, Talmage and Bailey Gentry; and their mother, Jaime Gentry; parents, Jeanine and Eddie Warren; grandfathers, James Moyers and Joe Warren; sisters, Erin Gentry, Heather Hendrix and Brooke Parker; brother, Clay Warren; nephews and nieces, Spencer Howard, Vivian and Braxton Warren and Avery and Annie Kate Parker; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Services will be at Collegedale Community Church located at 4995 Swinyar Drive in Collegedale on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 with visitation at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. and concluding with a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shanes memory to the SPCA of Bradley County or Cleveland for a No Kill City.
