Dewey Cleon Gravett, 71, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Spring City Health and Rehab. Dewey was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Eugene and Arsula Sneed Gravett; one brother, Bobby Gene Gravett. Survivors: his wife, Joetta Gravett, of Dayton; three sons, Coy Gravett, Dewey Dana (Tammy) Gravett, of Dayton, Ernie (Candie) Gravett, of Niota, Tenn.; a daughter, Joy (Rick) Reed, of Dayton; two sisters, Sue (Harold) Hickman, of Dayton, Kathryn Coulter, of Sale Creek, Tenn.; one brother, Norman (Naomi) Gravett, of Dayton; six grandchildren, Justin (Staci) Reed, Chris Reed, Gina Reed, Brandon Gravett, Constance Reed, Caden Gravett; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Braxton Reed; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He owned and operated Powell Furniture Co. of Dayton for many years, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by wife, Andrea Powell Harrison; parents, Roger Parham and Paralee Smith Harrison; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Bob Harrison, Spring City, Tenn., David Harrison, Dayton; two daughters, Jane (Rick) Williams, Dayton, Kathy (Don) Wolford, Spring City; three grandchildren, James (Amber) Boles, Jason Boles, Chris (April) Hester; great-grandson, Nathan Boles; several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Interment in Buttram Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. today. He was preceded in deathy by his parents, Frank and Camolyra Swafford Brown; brother, Benny Swafford Brown; sister, Helen Brown; grandson, Cole Green; great-grandson, Tucker Brown; first wife, Barbara Brown. Stacey Annette (Bishop) Lee, age 43, of Dayton died unexpectedly March 23, 2014 at her daughter's home. She was born March 24, 1970 in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Bishop and her grandmother, Nola (Fraley) Bishop. A resident of Dayton all her life, Stacey graduated from Rhea County High School in 1988. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Stacey is survived by her mother, Kathy Bishop of Dayton; two daughters, Tori Smith of Dayton and Sydni Lee of Spring City; her granddaughter, Addison Newman; sister, Tana (Lynn) Cranfield and grandfather, Bernard Bishop, all of Dayton. Funeral services for Stacey will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stanley Faulkner officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Brown Cemetery.
