A Jefferson County jury has found a Port Neches man guilty of a 2008 murder. Christopher Robin is now awaiting sentencing in the 252nd Criminal District Court. Robin was found guilty of killing his roommate and alleged lover, Wayne Beavers, at their shared Port Neches home. The medical examiner determined Beavers' death was caused by blunt force trauma and strangulation, noting a crushed chest, head wounds and bruises around his throat among the many marks on his body. Throughout the week-long trial, Robin maintained his innocence.
