Thursday, May 16 Cliff Drive | 200 Block | Drugs; Felony Warrant; DUI; ++ 11:18 p.m. A cell caller reported a possible DUI driver heading into town on Laguna Canyon Rd. A patrol unit spotted the car and turned on its red overhead lights and the driver failed to pull over for about four blocks, police said. During the investigation at the stop, the male driver became a medical aid; suspected drug overdose and he was taken to hospital. The vehicle search found needles, white powder (meth) and a pipe. The driver gave the officers a name that turned out to not be his. Once the real name was found, a no bail warrant was found. Wallace Kermit Allen, 47 of Santa Ana, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance; possession of paraphernalia, DUI, and giving false information to a police officer.
