John Henry Bean of Delray Beach, Florida Arrested for Lewd Behavior
John Henry Bean of Delray Beach, Florida was arrested Wednesday after he was accused of sleeping with and impregnating a 15-year-old girl a decade ago, news sources report. Bean, 52, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior. His bail bond was set at $250,000. It is unclear whether Bean has hired an attorney. According to reports, the investigation started on September 5 of this year. A 25-year-old woman apparently went to the Delray Beach Police Station on that day to report that, 10 years ago, Bean sexually assaulted her. The victim said she had one sexual partner at the time, though a DNA test revealed that that person was not the child's father. The specifics of the alleged rape, such as whether Bean and the then-teen were acquainted before the incident, are not currently known. The victim has likewise not been publicly identified. When Delray Beach officers spoke with Bean about the allegations, he reportedly admitted to having had intercourse with the victim. Bean said he had just gone through a difficult time leaving his wife and was 'acting crazy at the time,' reports say. An investigation into the decade-old allegations is still opened. Bean does not appear to have a criminal record in South Florida, and police are waiting for the results of a paternity test before filing any additional charges. It remains to be seen whether Bean will be responsible for helping to support the child if convicted. The report does not specify whether the woman is currently the sole caregiver for the child. Children are often the target of sexual crimes. Earlier this year, Fort Lauderdale resident Zachary Mueller was apprehended after he allegedly molested a teenage girl he met at a funeral, sources report. Mueller, 31, was taken into police custody on a charge of sexual battery of a victim over 12 years old with physical force. His bail was set at $5,000. It is unclear whether he hired legal aid.

Ron Hachamoff of Boca Raton, Florida Arrested for Aggravated Assault
Ron Hachamoff of Boca Raton, Florida was arrested Tuesday for allegedly displaying his handgun during a road rage incident, news sources report. Hachamoff, 42, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of aggravated assault. A judge ordered that he be held in lieu of $5,000 bail bond. The press did not specify an attorney for Hachamoff. According to reports, Hachamoff has no prior arrests in the state of Florida. He appears to have a license to carry a handgun, since he is not facing gun charges. The incident began around 11:15 Monday evening on the Linton Boulevard Interstate 95 entrance ramp in Delray Beach, sources say. Hachamoff was in his vehicle; Paul Tout and passenger Brian Young were in another vehicle. The three men got into some kind of dispute while driving, though reports were unable to specify the details of the dispute. The two vehicles kept close to one another as they entered the interstate, sources say. Near or on the southbound exit ramp of Palmetto Park Road, someone from Tout's vehicle allegedly threw a soda can at Hachamoff's vehicle. Hachamoff pulled out and displayed his gun at that point, allegedly pointing it at the two victims. Sources say an FHP trooper responded to the incident, but by the time they arrived, Hachamoff was already gone. Tout and Young remained at the scene and gave the trooper their statement. Soon after, Hachamoff called the police and asked to speak with an officer. The trooper agreed to met Hachamoff at the Mobil gas station on Hillsboro Boulevard. During a conversation with the officer, Hachamoff reportedly admitted to revealing his gun during the confrontation because he feared for his safety. Hachamoff did not bring the gun to the meeting location; instead, he told the officer he had dropped it off at home. As Hachamoff was arrested, officers went to his home and seized the gun.

Douglas Hughes Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida Arrested for Video Voyeurism
Douglas Hughes Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida was arrested Thursday for allegedly photographing women in a Delray Beach public restroom, news sources report. Hughes, 28, was already out on bail for similar charges stemming from last year; he reportedly told authorities he had filmed women and girls in public bathrooms up to 30 times. For this most recent offense, he was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on 11 counts of video voyeurism. He was not granted bail bond. The press did not say whether Hughes had obtained a lawyer. According to reports, Hughes once worked as a groundskeeper for the city of Boca Raton. He was arrested on August 18, 2012 after he allegedly recorded video of mother and daughter changing in a public restroom at Red Reef Park in Boca Raton. It was unclear whether he was working at the park at the time. Following his arrest, Hughes reportedly admitted that he had started filming women and young girls changing in Boca Raton parks in March 2012 and had done so on 25 to 30 different occasions. Hughes was later released from jail on August 22, 2012. A judge forbade Hughes from going to parks or possessing cameras. He is also not allowed near minors, sources say. This latest incident occurred on August 12, 2013 at the Atlantic Dunes Park in Delray Beach. Sources say a woman called police to the park. The woman explained that she had seen Hughes snapping photos in the ladies room at the park on July 19th, and that he was once again at the park. To prevent Hughes from taking any more photos or video, Delray Beach Police Department put his mugshot on Facebook and asked citizens to report him if he did anything out of line.

Lydia LaShelle Young of Delray Beach, Florida Arrested for Child Neglect
Lydia LaShelle Young of Delray Beach, Florida was arrested Thursday after she was accused of leaving her five children home alone, news sources report. Young, 30, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on five counts of child neglect. It is unclear whether she qualified for bail bond. Reports did not say whether Young had obtained a criminal defense lawyer . According to reports, Young is the mother of five children; the ages of the children were not specified in reports. It appears Young is the sole care provider of the children, who live with her at a Delray Beach home. Following Young's arrest, temporary custody of the children was given to someone whose identity was not specified in reports. It is too early to tell how these charges will affect Young's custody over the children. Reports say the incident occurred around 11:00 Thursday evening. It is not known what time Young left her home, but apparently someone called police to report the act. The caller reportedly suggested that the five children were being left home alone on a regular basis. A Delray Beach police officer went to the home to investigate. When he knocked, a child reportedly started walking around the residence and turning off lights. Somehow the police were able contact a relative of the children and have the relative come to the home. One of the kids opened the door for the relative, and the officer searched the home. He reportedly found that there was almost no food in the home, according to reports. It is not clear how the children were doing.

Heather Zipron of Delray Beach, Florida Arrested for Leaving the Scene of a Crash
Heather Zipron of Delray Beach, Florida was arrested Monday after she drove into another car, and then fled the scene on foot, news sources report. Information regarding the other driver's identity was not immediately available following the incident; it is unclear whether that driver was injured. Zipron, 42, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on charges of leaving the scene of a crash and possession of a controlled substance. A judge ordered that she be held in lieu of a $26,000 bail bond. The press did not specify a defense attorney for Zipron. According to reports, the collision happened around 5:00 Monday evening at the intersection of Southeast Sixth Street and Southeast Fifth Avenue in Delray Beach. Zipron was behind the wheel of her silver Nissan Altima with two other passengers when she collided with a blue Hyundai, sources allege. Following the collision, Zipron and the two other people in her car got out and ran off in different directions, reports say. An officer later spoke with the Hyundai's driver, who was able to give a description of two of the people who fled the scene. The driver described a woman wearing a blue tank top and blue shorts and a man dressed in a loose red shirt, sources say. The officer drove around the surrounding area until he located Zipron, who matched the woman's description, around Southeast Seventh Avenue. Zipron was reportedly attempting to get on a bus, reports say. The officer purportedly noted that Zipron had needle marks on her right arm. Zipron allowed the officer to inspect her purse, saying, 'There is nothing in there, you can look,' sources indicate. The officer searched the purse and found a syringe, a container used to crush up pills, and four Suboxone pills, reports say. 'I used [the container] to [crush] my Dilaudid,' Zipron reportedly explained, saying she got the Suboxone pills in the black market. Suboxone is used to treat opiate addictions, sources say.

Stephanie St. Fleur of Delray Beach, Florida Arrested for Aggravated Child Abuse
Stephanie St. Fleur of Delray Beach, Florida was arrested Tuesday after she allegedly struck her daughter with her hands or a belt as a form of punishment, news sources report. St. Fleur, 23, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on two counts of aggravated child abuse. She was later released after posting a $5,000 bail bond. The press did not specify whether St. Fleur has hired a criminal defense attorney. According to reports, the investigation into the abuse began in August 2011 after a Department of Children and Families investigator found bruises on the victim's legs and back. Reports were unable to provide the girl's age at the time these alleged injuries were discovered. A DCF investigator showed the images to a doctor, who purportedly found 30 bruises and marks on the girl's lower back, buttocks, and legs. Based on reports, a person whose relationship to the girl was not specified suggested the girl might have obtained the bruises seen in the pictures by playing with other children. The doctor inspecting the images, however, said the bruises and marks appeared to be evidence of child abuse, not of normal play.
