SOUTHAVEN — Christopher William Jenkins died April 2 at his home. He was originally from Batesville. He leaves his wife, Glyn Jenkins, his son, Eli Jenkins, two stepsons, Dylan Kern and Gabriel Kern of Hattiesburg, his parents Larry Jenkins and Ann Hollingsworth Jenkins of Sardis, and his brother, Larry Jenkins of Oxford. He also leaves six nieces and one nephew, and one great-nephew, Abel Christopher Dunn. He was an artist and musician who illustrated children's books. He attended South Panola High School, Northwest Miss. Community College, Miss. Delta Community College, and Delta State University.

HORN LAKE — The funeral service for Martha Jean Caldwell, 65, caregiver, will be at 3 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake where she was a member.  Visitation will start at 1 p.m. Caldwell was born May 13, 1948 in New Albany to the late Neel and Doris Caldwell and passed away Nov. 12 at her home.  She leaves three brothers, Larry McMullan (Ann) of Hattiesburg, Johnny Caldwell (Tracy) of Southaven, and Jerry Caldwell (Linda) of Coffeeville; one sister, Trisha Caldwell Brink of Horn Lake; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven has charge.

HATTIESBURG — The funeral service for Marie Jackson, 82, formerly of Southaven, will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Hill South with visitation starting at 11:30 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Jackson died Sept. 18 at Bedford Care Monroe Hall. She was a seamstress for 46 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Lee Edward Smith Jr.; a grandson, Michael Loyd; her parents, Grady and Annie Anderson; three brothers and two sisters. She leaves three daughters, Diana Davis (Gene) of Saulsbury, Tenn., Ramona Wynne (Scott) of Florence and Debbie Beal (Tony) of Petal; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
