Zarate, 42; Jesus Alberto Flores, 25; and Noe Romero Salinas, 32, have since been indicted in U.S. District Court in Cleveland.Each man has been named in a one-count indictment charging them with possession with the intent to distribute 51 kilograms, or about 112.5 pounds, of cocaine.The men were arrested after an investigation by Akron police, Summit County sheriff’s deputies, the Akron-Summit County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) initiative, the FBI and DEA.The three men are being held in Summit County Jail under $1 million bonds.Shots firedAKRON: Gunfire broke out in East Akron just before noon Monday, striking three homes with bullets, police said.No one was injured in the shooting at East Archwood Avenue and Girard Street. No suspects have been identified.Witnesses said they saw one man exit a car and approach another. The man then fired several shots at someone inside the vehicle. Both cars then sped from the area. Police recovered multiple shell casings from the intersection.Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron police at 330-375-2490.
