Round Rock police seek daycare robbery suspects
From the Round Rock Police Department:
Round Rock Police are seeking two suspects in a vehicle burglary and subsequent aggravated robbery at a Round Rock daycare late Wednesday afternoon (5/22). When a Round Rock mother picking her children up from Primrose School of Round Rock, 3298 Forest Creek Dr., came back to her vehicle at about 4:30 p.m., she found a black male breaking into her vehicle.
The suspect jumped into a newer-model Silver Ford Focus driven by another dark-skinned male and left the scene, striking the woman with the side of their vehicle in the process. One of the suspects is described as in his mid-20s with close-cropped hair and possibly wearing a blue or red striped t-shirt. The second suspect is described as 20-30 years old, no further information available.
The vehicle is further-described as a four-door sedan with dark tinted windows last seen heading south on Red Bud Lane in Round Rock.
The suspects stole the victim’s purse. Another parent leaving the school shortly afterward found her vehicle’s driver side window broken and her purse, too, was stolen.
The suspects in this case should be considered armed and dangerous.
