Vital records such as birth, death, marriage and some consider divorces (although they’re court records) are generally offered by the state’s department of health, vital statistics offices. These records can also be offered by the county clerk or health departments of their own. Using the state’s vital statistic’s offices, you can order certified copies/certificates for minimal fees from the department. There are in some cases where a state will also offer non certified copies which can expedite the request with lesser costs.
