What you will need:
  • Full name of the person or business
  • Case number, if you have one
  • Approximate date or location of the record

How to Request Records

In person: Visit the A.F. Bray Courthouse at 1020 Ward St in Martinez, or the records office at 725 Court St. Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Online: Use the court's Public Portal to search case records and hearings.

By mail: Submit a written request under the California — Court & Arrest Lookup Act to the office that holds the records.

Cities in Contra Costa County

Contra Costa County includes the city of Martinez (county seat) and other municipalities including Richmond, Concord, Antioch, Walnut Creek, Pittsburg, Brentwood, San Ramon, Danville, Pleasant Hill, and El Cerrito. City-level record pages will be added as they become available.
